ALMFD – American Liberty & Media for Democracy

In a time when headlines scream louder than truths, and clicks matter more than clarity, ALMFD was born out of frustration—and a deep sense of responsibility.

We’re a group of young journalists, coders, veterans, and activists who came together after one too many arguments over dinner tables, one too many deepfakes, and one too many days watching our peers scroll past the stories that matter most.

We didn’t want to just consume the news.
We wanted to **challenge it, verify it, and most of all—**make it matter again.

Why We Started ALMFD

American Liberty & Media for Democracy isn’t just a name. It’s a mission.

We started ALMFD in the wake of rising polarization and declining trust in the media. Our founders—a mix of Gen Z college editors, military vets who’d seen the real cost of misinformation, and tech-savvy truth hunters—realized something critical:

Liberty dies in silence. And democracy dies in confusion.

We were tired of algorithm-driven outrage and opinion dressed as fact. So we created ALMFD to be different:

No paywalls. Because truth shouldn’t be gated.
No spin. Just context, transparency, and verified reporting.
No corporate filters. We’re proudly independent.

What We Believe

Liberty means giving people the tools to think for themselves.
Media should inform, not inflame.
Democracy thrives on awareness and participation—especially from the next generation.

We’re not right-wing or left-wing.
We’re truth-wing.
And we’re building a place where young Americans can learn what’s happening—and why it matters.
